What are Cookies?
A cookie is a small piece of data (text file) that a website – when visited by a user – asks your browser to store on your device in order to remember information about you, such as your language preference or login information. Those cookies are set by us and called first-party cookies. We also use third-party cookies – which are cookies from a domain different than the domain of the website you are visiting – for our advertising and marketing efforts. You can think of cookies as providing a "memory" for the website, enabling it to recognise a user and respond appropriately.

The IG Group Websites use Google Analytics to collect statistics on visits to the websites. You can opt out of Google Analytics https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google Analytics & Display Advertising
We will update our Google Analytics tracking code to support Google Display Advertising. This enables Google Analytics to collect data about your traffic via the Google Ad Manager cookie in addition to data collected through the standard Google Analytics implementation.
Display Advertising will allow us to enable features in Analytics that are not available through standard implementations (Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting). We use this data to develop the website and content around our users’ interests.
You can opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customise Google Display Network ads using the Ads Preferences Manager available here.
