Application Database Administrator
Job Description
- Install, configure, upgrade of PostgreSQL DBMS on Cloud
- Experience with migrate/re platform to Open Shift on IBM Cloud
- Migration from Oracle on legacy to PostgreSQL on Cloud and vice versa
- Setup High Availability on database level
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Design & development of migration patterns
- Exposure to OpenShift on private cloud (Power S922)
- Design of PostgreSQL database setup, including high availability on database level. Design of migration patterns from Oracle to PostgreSQL and back.
- Coordination and quality control of the development of these patterns with China GD development team
Education + Experience
- Expertise in Application Database Administrator and NoSQL Cloud Databases
